I have lived in Gilmorton since May 2017 with my husband Adrian and dog Billy. After
working with my husband for 28 years at his graphics and printing company I recently took
early retirement. This has enabled me to help out with childcare for my 3 young grandsons
and get more involved in village life.
I wanted to join the parish council to help keep Gilmorton the beautiful, safe and friendly
village that I have grown to love and am so happy to call home.
My particular responsibilities include the recreation ground, Jubiliee wood and the
Christmas vouchers. I also organised the Platinum jubilee celebrations for the village in June
2022.
In addition to this I am a member of the Gilmorton Community Playing Fields Association
and handle the bookings and invoicing for the classes and functions for the pavilion. I'm also
involved with the annual beer festival and am an assistant leader with the 1 st Gilmorton
Cubs.
In my spare time a love working on my allotment, walking my dog, socialising with friends,
playing badminton and attending the local keep fit classes.
Elected unopposed to the council in May 2021
